The first temperature measurement on the sensor can be higher because of the Wi-Fi configuration during provisioning process. The temperature and humidity values should stabilize after a few minutes and this should be reflected in subsequent readings.
If the temperature value continues to be off for an extended period of time, calibration may be needed. Calibration for temperature is an feature that we will implement soon in a future update to the app. Thank you for your patience.
