The SafeSense App will allow you to manage multiple sensors in multiple different locations and group them together for a quick overview. Imagine you own several rental homes and would like get a quick overview of all the sensors in one particular home, it's easy with SafeSense. 

You can easily switch between locations from the drop down menu below the SafeSense logo on the dashboard. 

Instructions to use manage sensor locations

Step 1: Setup the locations

• From the SafeSense dashboard, click on the settings cog ⚙ at the top right.
• Click on "Edit Locations"
• Click on "New Location" on the bottom, to create as many different locations as your want.

Step 2: Populate the locations with specific sensors

You will need to add the sensors to the app before proceeding with this step. If you need help adding a new sensor, please see the article on adding sensors. 

• On this same "Edit Locations" link, you will see a list of all the sensors you have.
• To the right of each sensor is a 'set location' icon, click on this to select the location to add the sensor to.

• If you need to move a sensor from one location to another, then click the drop down to the right of the location and select the 'set location' icon again.

Step 3: Save the selection!

• IMPORTANT. Don't forget to click "Save" to save the sensors to the correct location

Step 4: Return to the dashboard to view by location

• Click the "X" in the top right to close locations.
• Click "<" in the top left to return to the dashboard.
• Now you can click on the locations dropdown to switch between location views.
